For over 20 years, I have helped people build meaningful careers by connecting individual talent with the realities of what employers actually need. My work in graduate recruitment and early-career development gave me a clear view of a recurring issue: many highly capable people struggle not with ability, but with how they present themselves, focus their efforts, and translate potential into opportunity.
One the years I have helped many graduates and early-career professionals, introduced through my network and mentoring programs, each facing similar challenges, and often without a clear path forward. Seeing this pattern repeat, and recognising how these challenges are likely to intensify as AI reshapes entry-level careers, I created phigure.
